Exhibitions – when turning up is just not enough

To get maximum benefit from exhibitions, just turning up is not enough. To ensure visitors are actively encourage to attend, each exhibition should be planned with pre, during and post exhibition activity.

In Press takes a very pro-active approach to helping clients promote themselves at exhibitions.

Starting with the organisers, we ensure that all opportunities including catalogue entries and online opportunities are taken advantage of the shows’ press office is always a good starting point to obtain a list of journals that will be covering and attending the exhibition.

In Press would write and distribute a preview press release outlining what will be on show. This will need to be written and distributed at least 2 months before the show.

Added Value: There is often a free company directory on the exhibition website. Press would ensure that we took advantage of opportunities like this as part of the PR fee.

A review release may also be written to highlight any successes at the show eg. Contracts signed, orders placed, more details on new products launched.

Send out a trackable e-shot highlighting your presence at the Show, stand number and products being shown. Send this to your own database or be part of a journal e-newsletter. Recommendations will be made by In Press.
